Lunch & Learn: Cool Adventures in Hot Oklahoma
All of us look forward to summer until it is 110 degrees outside. Don't let the heat of the summer get you down. There is so much to do and see in this great state. Get ready to throw a couple of things in the car and take off for a day trip in Oklahoma!
With hot weather ahead, Sandy Pantlik, Director of the Travel Promotion Division of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, will share ideas for family-friendly day trips. Some of us know about Oklahoma's great state parks, but there are also fun, air-conditioned museums or cool caverns to see. Join Sandy as she shares these adventures with us.

Help to Give Hope
Did you know that in 43% of child fatalities, the mom also reports being a victim of domestic violence and feels helpless to stop it?
We have the opportunity to volunteer at Wings of Hope, Stillwater's domestic violence shelter. It is committed to stopping domestic violence, and is dedicated to helping families end the cycle of violence by helping to empower the victims. They provide comprehensive and confidential services to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and child abuse or neglect. They strive to seek social change through community awareness and client advocacy.
In a small way, we too can help stop the violence by volunteering on Saturday, June 9th. We have two time slots for volunteering – 9:00 –11:30 AM and 11:30 AM –2:00 PM. We will be working on several outdoor projects for them. Please email
